Cross-Country Fall 2019 Sports Registration
For girls and boys interested in running Cross-Country, during Fall 2019 the St. Jane de Chantal CYO will again be participating in a the Archdiocesan Cross-Country program.
Registration is open to any Fall 2019 Grades K-8 boy or girl who attends St. Jane School or whose parents/guardians are registered St. Jane parishioners. There are two separate practice times for the different age groups so we can give more attention to all runners.

Fall 2019 Grade Fee
Cross-Country Grades K-8 $70
Registration closes on Friday, September 6, 2019.

Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning August 27.
Tuesday -- Fleming Park; 9929 Fleming Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814
Thursday -- Cedarwood Park; Corner of Gloxinia Dr. and Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, MD 20878.
4:30-5:30 p.m. - 8 and under (anyone who has not turned 9 by August 31 of this school year). NOTE: If a runner is younger and new to the program, this may be the better practice for them at the beginning of the season.
5:30-6:30 p.m. - 9 years old and up.
Runners should wear lightweight or dry-fit clothing.
Proper running shoes are a must. RNJ Sports will fit young runners for shoes as well as Potomac River Running, Pacers, Road Runner Sports, and Fleet Feet.
Please bring water or a sport drink to every practice!

The Fall 2018 Varsity, JV, and Rookie Girls won the city championship in their divisions. Congratulations to all.

2019 Meet Schedule:
Runners will be in six divisions:
U8 Boys and U8 Girls - 1 Mile Distance
U11 Boys and U11 Girls - 2 Mile Distance
U14 Boys and U14 Girls - 2 Mile Distance
The first race of every meet begins at 12:30 p.m. with the one mile, 8 and under Boys race.
Most runners arrive at noon to do a course walk-through, warm-up, and stretch.
This year, 8 and under group will again be able to race for a championship title and trophy.
Please note the championship meet should not interfere with soccer playoffs.
